The title of this blog is My Journey, I used to think that that word was so cheesy. But really this is MY journey and I am going to share it with all who want to listen, So begining June 1st, we will start this journey together. I am on this journey to become a healthier person. There are a few reasons for this. I really want to look good in anything I put on and not have to keep trying on everything in my closet. Another reason is, and the most important, I want to have another baby. For those of you that have carried a baby when being overweight know what I am talking about. With my last baby, I wasn't able to carry her full term. My body had just had enough. I was working as a CNA at the time and my body just gave up. Anyway I want a stronger body for those reasons. My husband and I, Shayne, Joined Golds Gym in November. I went off and on doing pump classes and trying to push my way on the treadmill. Well I decided to try a class called Turbokick, one reason for not going to this class is because it is at 5:45 AM. But I have been doing Turbo Jam for four years and thought a live class would be fun to try. Well the instructer Shukria is one of the best. She is the one who started me on this so called Journey. She told me to take a before picture, I did that last night. I am sporting a new BodyBugg and that is my key to success. To date I have lost 5 lbs. I started at 200.o and am now at 195. I plan to share all my stats in hopes to inspire someone to begin thier journey. My bodybugg stats today were Steps:14,000 and 2850 calories burned. Since I have been using the bodybugg my hunger is not even there. Is it okay to not eat healthy snacks when you aren't even hungary. I have been told before to eat 6 small meals a day. But what if I am not hungary. And my cravings are gone, the other day my family went to IN N OUT, I love that place, but I had already eaten so I wasn't temped to get anything. I am going to sign off.
